Breeding conditions:

| Judging by the number of broods of most species, breeding was successful over the major part of the Eastern Chukotka.
|

Rodent dynamics:
|
| Populations of both lemming species were starting to increase; in several localities (the vicinity of Uelen settlement, Anadyr' river mouth etc.) large numbers of Root Vole Microtus oeconomus were observed also.
